APOTECAcommunity meets in Baltimore

On November 3-4, 2016 the fourth edition of the APOTECAcommunity USA meeting took place at  The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore MD.

APOTECAcommunity is the scientific network where users and developers of the APOTECAchemo robot envision new ways in which technology can help oncology patients.

This year, 30 hospital pharmacy professionals participated in the meeting from some of the leading cancer center in the US, including the newcomer Montefiore Medical Center in New York City. They had a chance to visit the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center pharmacy, where two APOTECAchemo robots have been running for about two years.

Ideas that have been collected during the two-day meeting will drive the development of the APOTECA technology in the next year.
